Here are our suggestions of great venues in the city of Nîmes. Small Bistro for snacks, gastronomic restaurant for tasting, cocktail bar or organic table for brunch: we have appreciated them all and we go there regularly.

  • Alexandre (2 * Michelin)
    In the heart of a park populated by hundred-year-old cedars, the chef Michel Kaiser celebrates, with precision and audacity, the South and its Mediterranean products from land and sea. Don’t miss his signature dish: floating island with Rabasse (truffles) on a velouté of Cevennes ceps!

    In his Nîmes landmark, a converted former farmhouse, Jerôme Nutile, Best Worker in France 2011, celebrates the seasons and the Camargue spirit. The chef also offers a brasserie “le bistr’au” and since September 2022 a quality Italian restaurant: “Georgi’au”.

    Located in the effervescent Halles of Nîmes, this tapas bar, run by a chef as experienced as he is jovial, delights the taste buds in all simplicity.
